GQB Teams-up with Rockers, JPT, For Stitched Crosses Soundtrack

Grail Quest Books is excited to be teaming up with indy rock band JPT (formerly “Justpassingthru”) on our Stitched Crosses soundtrack, which will be released with the upcoming audio dramatisation. We will be featuring two of their songs on the soundtrack, “Morning Sun” and “Let’s Take Heaven”. You can listen to “Morning Sun” (for free) at their website.

“Let’s Take Heaven” will be part of their new album, The Burning, which is due to release on May 18.

A little bit about the band itself:

  • JTP hails from Caldwell NJ.
  • They are the National Momentum Awards winner for “2008 Rock Artist of the Year” (the “Momentums” are a leading award in indy music).
  • Their current Fb fan page is “JPTrocks”
  • “In late 2007, JPT was featured on EMI’s artist discovery site, HearItFirst.com, as the “Top 5 Rated Artist” for 2-1/2 weeks straight alongside Chris Tomlin, Third Day, Mandisa, Krystal Meyers, BarlowGirl, Rush of Fools, David Crowder* Band.” (From their official website)
  • JPT

  • “JPT has shared the stage with a number of today’s top artists including Switchfoot, TobyMAC, Mandisa (of American Idol fame), Sanctus Real, Britt Nicole, Luna Halo, Spoken, The Wrecking and many more.” (From their official website)
  • In February 2010 their song “Deeper Than” was voted onto a limited time “sampler” album (created by fans) as part of Windows Media Player’s “Playlist 7” contest

Be sure to check out their website for more insights, music, and updates from JPT.

This is very exciting news for GQB, and it is hopefully not the end of the music team-ups we are trying to line up for the Stitched Crosses soundtrack, which will feature Joe Harrison’s official debut as a Project Composer!
